Rocks, blue sky, & sheep : the Plateau du Larzac is warming up to welcome you. Delayed for a year by you-know-what, CNE week will be worth the wait.
Thanks to our volunteer helpers from clubs in the Hérault, the Aude and the Aveyron for keeping faith in the project. We’re all looking forward to putting on an event to remember.
Welcome to CNE 2021
The Hérault is this year’s host area for the CNE, with volunteers from various clubs in this part of southern France bringing you a week of competition and training events. Held during the first week of the autumn half-term school holiday, the seven days of orienteering will include training events, a regional event, a forest sprint race at the Lac de Salagou, the French night championships on the Plateau du Larzac, the French sprint championships in the city of Béziers, and to finish off the week the CNE relay event itself back up on the Plateau du Larzac. The events are all open to members of any orienteering federation, whether French or from other nations, and there will be non-competitive courses for non-members.The areas you’ll discover during your week are magnificent. The Hérault council authorities and the various districts concerned are all working with us towards the success of the event; we’re sure you’ll receive a warm welcome. So save the dates, from Monday 25th to Sunday 31th October, and we hope to see you all for this 2021 edition of the CNE.
